Temi Okesanya is the founder of Road Aider, Canada’s first roadside assistance app, which has evolved into a multi-million-dollar platform within just three years. Community-driven and crowd-sourced, Road Aider recently took a significant step into the U.S. market by securing its first American partnership. In 2017, Temi launched the Whiteboard Project to improve learning in international public schools, supplying essential educational resources to uplift global communities. His entrepreneurial achievements have received notable recognition. In 2022, Temi claimed both the First-Place and People’s Choice Awards at Innovate Calgary’s Black Founders in Tech Pitch Competition. This year, he was selected to represent Canada at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance Summit in Brazil. Temi’s dedication to building an inclusive tech ecosystem in Alberta and his unwavering commitment to community advancement earned him the 2024 Calgary Black Chamber’s Achievement Award in STEM.
